Our story

Built on William Briggs' word

Progressive Pools & Spas LLC was founded in Tucson on a straightforward idea: build pools that hold up to the desert and treat every homeowner like a neighbor. From the shop on S Tennessee Pl, William Briggs leads a team that handles design, permitting, and construction in-house.

No subcontracted guesswork — just clear plans, honest timelines, and craftsmanship made for Arizona living.

How it works

A clear path to your pool

  1. 1

    Design Consultation

We visit your property, talk budget and goals, and sketch a layout that fits your yard and the way you want to live outdoors.

  2. 2

    Plans & Permits

You receive a detailed proposal with 3D-style renderings, materials, and a transparent schedule. We handle Tucson permitting.

  3. 3

    Construction

Excavation, steel, plumbing, gunite, tile, and finish — managed by our own crew with regular updates at every stage.

  4. 4

    Startup & Care

We balance the water, walk you through your equipment, and offer maintenance plans so it stays perfect year-round.

Questions

Good to know

Every project is quoted to scope, but most custom gunite pools in the Tucson area begin in the mid five figures. After a consultation we provide a fixed, itemized proposal — no surprises.

From permit approval, most builds run 8–12 weeks depending on size, features, and weather. Renovations are usually faster. You'll get a schedule before we break ground.

Yes. We manage the full permitting process with the City of Tucson and Pima County and coordinate all required inspections as part of your project.

Absolutely. Our maintenance and repair team works on pools and spas throughout Tucson regardless of who originally built them.
